Are outdoor strip heaters weather-proof?
Infratech heaters are a commercial grade heater made for indoor and outdoor applications. If they are being used outdoors it is assumed they will be under a roof. Keep in mind that the heaters are electric so it is not advisable they be installed in an area where rain will be directly on the unit. Infratech outdoor heaters are not waterproof but yes they are weather-proof. They are manufactured from high grade stainless steel so will not rust in the elements.
How do electric strip heaters compare to gas?
Electric strip heaters are far more efficient to run than gas heaters. Infratech heaters have a 90% efficiency output and emit no greenhouse gas emissions. Because they do not have as many parts as gas heaters they have less replacement issues. Infratech heaters cost a couple of cents an hour to run. You also won’t need to worry about running out of fuel or having ongoing gas bottle costs.
How do Infratech heaters compare to other strip heaters?
Infratech have been manufacturing their high grade commercial strip heaters for over 50 years. Their research and development in the area is second to none.
The heating systems are made from recyclable materials and operate with zero greenhouse emissions. They maintain a constant infrared radiant heat generated by a uniquely designed quartz element. Infratech are committed to producing the highest standard product in the outdoor strip heater industry.
What sort of area do the strip heaters cover?
The element is rated for 5,000 hours of use.
The smallest model will give you 1.8m X 1.8m of heat coverage.
The largest model will give you 4m X 5m of heat coverage.

What is their warranty and do Infratech’s strip heaters have available replacement parts?
The location where you purchased your Infratech heater will be able to provide replacement parts including heating elements and flush mount kits. They will also be able to provide you with any other help or advice you need. The Infratech outdoor strip heaters come with a one year warranty.
